Video Editing vs. Watching Video
March 4, 2010
I recieved the track I needed from Domonique to edit her video. I can kick myself from not asking her before. Spent a few days editing the video to another song that did fit, but it was a challenge. Lesson Learned…JUST ASK! Now that I have the correct track the editing is a lot smoother and moving right along. Now the new challenge, which I didn’t think it would be is to pay close attention and edit the track with the dancing. Lol..wait the challenge is getting caught up in the video and music and wanting to dance myself. However, tonight is a better focus night and after the week I practically wasted on editing the video in the beginning, I have seen the clips enough that the excitement has toned down a bit. Well, I guess from the 22nd of February until Now wasn’t a complete waste.
Golle, my helpful freelance developer, fixed the Rotating Box error that I was getting. For the life of me, I could not get this component to load in my main History Flash. Now it works! Great excitement for the History Page. Because of his help I can work on the other illustrations, I have created for DJs: Marshall Johnson and Ron Hardy. Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan illustrations are completed. I have 6 notches on my DJ Deck, of course I can add more, however I think the last two notches should describe the hottest clubs that rock the dance scene from the 80 and 90′s. I am speaking of the Warehouse , Paradise Garage, and the Loft. I can also speak about some of the dancers from that time with a collage of dancers and one paragraph. One paragraph may not be enough to justify the dance scene, however time is at a crunch and the super heart or entertainment of this project is the dance studio.
Note to Self: Actually this blog should be split in two postings.
I will be uploading process of video for it is looking good.
